I am blessed beyond measure. I am a Christian, a devoted loving wife, and dedicated mother of an amazing three year old daughter. I live every day to be the best I can be at all three of these things. I love traveling, music, cooking, the beach, and spending time with friends and family. I grew up in rural Alabama with parents married nearly 30 years. I am a passionate advocate for children having worked as a lobbyist and a senior policy advisor for a state governor.
When I was 14 years old, my father passed away unexpectedly. I was raised by a hard-working single mom and older sisters. At 17, I enlisted in the Army
Reserves to help give me structure and to pay for college and law school. I
currently hold the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and have been a Trial Attorney
since 2003. One of the greatest blessings God has given me is that of
fatherhood. I wake up every day with a sense of urgency to be the very best dad I can be.

We welcomed our healthy biological daughter into this world excited to
give her a life full of love & opportunities beyond what we ever had
growing up as children. Due to a dangerous hospitalization after her
birth, the doctors advised I not have any additional biological children.
We knew adoption was God`s plan. If given the opportunity, Joshua
and I promise that we will teach your child about his or her beginnings.
This child will know how much you loved him or her and that you put
this child as needs before your own. We will teach our child to respect you and your decision. This child will be loved unconditionally and welcomed into our family with open arms. We promise to love this child as our own flesh and give everything we have to give to ensure their success in life.
We are rich with family and friends who love and support us! We`ve
perfected the art of traveling. Since our parents can never get enough
time with their grandchildren, we load them up and take them with us.
We get our families together for tailgating, Tough Mudder races,
amusement parks (Disney World, Busch Gardens, Sea World…)
parks, holidays, birthdays, and sometimes just because it`s Saturday.
Our friends are family. These are some of the closest people in our
lives! Godparents, college friends, childhood friends, and colleagues
makeup our family`s support system. We get our kids together for
trips, holidays, birthdays and football games. We have friends from all
walks of life and backgrounds and cherish these relationships that
foster so much love.
