About Us

We met in 2007 while at college in Maryland and were married in September of 2014. We love to be outdoors, travel, and spend time with our extended family. Greg, short for Gregorio, was born in Brazil. He came to the United States to live when he was 7 years old, and grew up in the DC area.Greg is a loving and giving person. He works in finance, and in his free time plays the violin, soccer, and reads. Kids are drawn to Greg, our 8 year old cousin calls him his best friend. He is so excited to be a father and give everything he has to his future child. Natalie was born in Maryland, and has lived all over the United States. Pennsylvania finally become home, both before and after college.Natalie is a pediatric nurse at a local hospital. Children have always been her passion, and she has wanted to be a mother ever since she was little. It is a dream that is so close to becoming a reality. Natalie enjoys crafts, swimming, reading, seeing her twin, and playing with her dogs.

Our home / Our pets

We live with our two dogs and cat in a small tourist town in Pennsylvania. Although it may be on the small side, there are many things to do and experience from minor-league sports, the arts, to an amusement park. Our community, as well our church, are very child friendly. Amazing opportunities exist for your child and for our family to thrive. We have two dogs. Patrick is a West Highland White Terrier (Westie) and Tobey is a long-haired Dachshund. We also have a cat named Riley. They fill us with joy.

Our extended family

Natalie comes from a large Italian family, so naturally, family has always been important to her. She has a twin sister who is a school nurse, and a brother who works in IT for a non-profit company. Her parents are both very loving, and involved in their lives. Natalie’s mom works in early intervention as a speech pathologist. Natalie’s dad is the director at a human-services company helping people with disabilities. We look forward to attending the large family Christmas party each year with over 100 people. The food is always amazing, but our favorite thing to eat is nana’s baked ziti! We also visit a small beach town where about 50 family members rent out four homes for a week in the summer. Greg has an older brother and sister-in-law that live in New York City. They own and coach at a Jiu-Jitsu Gym in the city. Greg’s parents are very loving, and enjoy museums, plays, and history. Although Greg’s dad did retire, he is still a professor at a University. Greg’s mom works in child violence prevention. We see Greg’s family frequently and maintain a close relationship despite them not being right down the street from us like Natalie’s family. They all speak fluent Portuguese and English, and there is never a dull moment when we are all together! Our large family and many friends are very excited to step in and be an aunt, uncle, nonna (Italian for grandmother), avo (Portuguese for grandmother and grandfather), pop, and cousin.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption was something we talked about even before knowing the difficulties we have with conceiving. We have dreamt of having a family and adoption is the way we can make that dream a reality. If there was ever something we were destined and meant to do in life, parenting is it. We will love your child as our own, and remind them of their birth mother that loved them from the first moment.
