Meet Kassie Kleinhesselink, our Adoption Coordinator & Northwest Iowa native. Kassie lives in LeMars with her husband of seven years, Ben, & their son Harrison. With a love for family you can find her spending Sunday evenings at family dinners and week nights guiding young adults as a church youth group leader. In her spare time you can catch her at concerts & soaking up one-on-one time with Ben.

Kassie has a unique & personal connection with Adopt Connect. After struggling with infertility for five years the Kleinhesselink’s decided to grow their family through adoption. In December of 2016 they officially welcomed Harrison into their family & her relationship with Adopt Connect grew in a new direction. Soon after Kassie joined the team as our Adoption Coordinator. Her strong midwest roots & value of family make her the perfect fit for our puzzle.

As a mother who has adopted, I know just how amazing the adoption experience can be. I know how important everyone’s role is and I’m here to make sure that everyone is valued and respected and to ensure your child finds their forever home.

Meet Verenise Suarez, a Sioux City area native and mother to 9 year-old Brenden. Verenise is an Adoption Coordinator with Adopt Connect and a great fit to the team. Her greatest attribute is empathy and it shows during the most challenging of times, but the rewarding feeling is what makes her career so special.

In Verenise’s free time she enjoys pizza and super hero movie nights with her son. You will also find her spending quality time with family and friends. Fun fact about Verenise is that she has a twin sister! Together as a family, they enjoy cooking with their mother, especially around the holidays.

Being an adoption coordinator with Adopt Connect can have its challenges. It is a very emotional job, but the outcome of seeing a birth mother find the family that will raise her child and the bond she builds with the family is just amazing.
